This is a tangent, but did anyone else think it was just a little too coincidental that on the same day it became possible to pre-order Harry Potter and the Deathly Gallows, we learn that nude pictures of Daniel Radcliffe (the actor who plays Harry Potter in the movies) are being used to promote a production of the play Equus? [CNN story]
The movies have already done more than enough to change how I read Harry Potter books…now I’m left wondering what dark forces in the world of glamour fantasy photography conspired to make matters even worse.

Whoa … the rabbit hole goes deeper, Jim: check out this Extras episode, in which Herr Radcliffe plays himself, trying to “shake up people’s perception” of himself. Snicker.
