Two anniversaries

I can barely believe it, but yesterday was my 4th wedding anniversary.  It seems like only yesterday that we walked into the hall for our Turkish ceremony accompanied by an unrequested playing of the theme song from “Titanic” (maybe I can upload a video some day).  Kind of a shame that I’m now in South Bend, Indiana and my wife’s in Turkey, but by this time next week we’ll both be in Istanbul.

Today happens to be the 1st anniversary of Jim Gibbon.com.  Blogging has taken up more time than I thought it would, but it’s also been far more rewarding than I ever expected.  I want to thank all my readers, especially the 150+ people who have subscribed to the RSS feed, and everyone who has taken the time to leave a comment.  You all have made this worthwhile!
